There are just weeks to go until entries for the ACR News Awards close on Friday 19 October 2018.

Celebrating the very best from across the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors, the ACR News Awards presents businesses and their people with an unmissable opportunity to receive industry-wide recognition for excellence, innovation and commitment.

Taking place on Thursday 21 March in a glittering ceremony at London’s Tower Hotel, the awards offers entrants far more than the chance to come away with an acclaimed industry accolade.

Those entering the competition will receive heightened visibility across industry, reaping the business benefits of increased brand awareness. What’s more, involvement in the event is an achievement in itself; as the longest running UK ACR awards event, the ACR News Awards acts an independent endorser of businesses whose work or products meet the highest of standards, providing a seal of approval that will help to drive the growth of your company.

More categories for 2019

In addition to featuring a simplified entry process for 2019, the ACR News Awards has introduced no less than seven new categories in order to reflect on-going developments in an increasingly diverse and changing industry.

With companies and consumers alike relying more and more on digital technology in business, ‘Website of the Year’ and ‘App of the Year’ have been introduced as two brand new ‘voted for’ categories. These will be decided by an industry vote, together with the established ‘Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year’ and ‘Service Engineer of the Year’ awards, with the latter sponsored by Smith Brothers Stores.

The ‘judged’ categories now include ‘Chiller of the Year’, ‘Heat Pump of the Year’, ‘Retail Product of the Year’, ‘Retail Project of the Year’ and ‘Building Energy Management Project of the Year’, to ensure that companies which have contributed to these prominent industry areas receive the recognition they deserve.

These new awards will join the returning ‘Air Conditioning Product of the Year’ (sponsored by PACAIR), ‘Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year’ (sponsored by Hitachi Air Conditioning), ‘Refrigeration Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Ancillary Product of the Year’, and ‘Trainee of the Year’ (sponsored by Hawco).

Once again sponsored by ACR manufacturing giant, Bitzer, and also among the returning categories for the 2019 ACR News Awards is the long-established and renowned ‘Alan Moor Award’, which honours the commitment and contributions of one individual whose efforts on behalf of industry may have otherwise been unrecognized.

Entries close on 19 October, so to view the full list of categories and criteria and submit your entry – or book a table at the awards ceremony – visit www.acrnewsawards.com.
