Voting is now open for the 2019 ACR News Awards, giving everyone in the industry the opportunity to show who they believe is a truly worthy winner of a coveted ACR News accolade.

As the most prestigious awards event on the acr industry calendar, the ACR News Awards has always valued the opinions of the sector at large – and this is truer than ever for the 2019 edition.

Ahead of next year’s ACR News Awards, taking place at London’s Tower Hotel on 21 March, two brand new ‘voted for’ categories have been introduced: ‘Website of the Year’ and ‘App of the Year’.

With our use of digital technologies increasing exponentially, the ACR News Awards team thought it only right to recognise those who have embraced these trends and delivered innovative online platforms which benefit their intended users and make their daily working lives just that bit easier.

The two new awards categories join the returning ‘Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year’ and ‘Service Engineer of the Year’ categories.

Make your voice heard

Having your say in who deserves to come out on top at the ACR News Awards 2019 is easy; all four of the ‘voted for’ categories are decided by a simple online industry ballot.

Owing to what ACR News Editor Lynn Sencicle described as a “phenomenally busy” year for industry, entries into the ACR News Awards are at an all-time high – so make your voice heard by casting your online vote.

Voting will be closing on 31 January 2019.

What else is new?

It’s not just the ‘voted’ for categories that have been expanded. New for next year are the ‘Chiller of the Year’, ‘Heat Pump of the Year’, ‘Retail Product of the Year’, ‘Retail Project of the Year’ and ‘Building Energy Management Project of the Year’ awards.

During a time of unprecedented change for the acr industry, these additional awards have been created to recognise and celebrate the remarkable innovations taking place across this adaptable sector.

The new judged categories will be decided by an independent panel of industry experts alongside the established ‘Air Conditioning Product of the Year’, ‘Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Ancillary Product of the Year’, ‘Trainee of the Year’, and the Bitzer-sponsored ‘Alan Moor Award’.
