The ACR News Awards returns for 2020! Its mission? To reward the innovation and excellence of the air conditioning and refrigeration sector

The event – organised by ACR News magazine publisher, Datateam Business Media – has been recognising the hard work of industry professionals for over 20 years and will head back to London on Wednesday 22 January 2020.

The latest brand to announce its support of the event is industry heavyweight, Climalife: A wholly owned subsidiary of the Dehon Group, Climalife UK is part of a family run business with over 140 years’ experience in refrigerants. Acknowledged and well respected, the company is renowned within the industry for its technical expertise and product support services.

Speaking on Climalife’s decision to support the scheme, Allan Harper, managing director, explains the company’s affinity with the event: “[We] believe it is important to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. Climalife regularly takes part in the ACR News Awards event and is very proud of the awards it has won in previous years”.

Expanding on this, Allan outlines: “This year is Climalife’s opportunity to give something back to the extraordinary companies, to recognise the exceptional products and the remarkable individuals. Awards such as these drive every one of us to grow and achieve excellence within our industry”.
The categories on offer at the ACR News Awards have been specifically designed to reflect the vibrant and ever-changing nature of the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. Explaining Climalife’s decision to sponsor the ‘Chiller of the Year’ category, Allan continues: “As the industry moves towards using products with reduced environmental impact and delivering greater energy efficiencies, it is import to recognise how advances in chiller products are contributing”.

“As a refrigerant supplier, Climalife recognises that developments in refrigerant and chiller products go hand in hand and together, we can all strive to deliver positive change for the future”.
