New to the ACR News Awards 2017, the Unsung Hero category is dedicated to those who have gone over and above the call of duty in their working lives.

You can nominate someone at any level and job function within a company, but they must be of a position that would not otherwise receive recognition for what they do.

An example could be an unsurpassed level of knowledge gained through longevity, or it could be for single event where the nominee showed exceptional initiative which has benefited the company or the industry as a whole.

Commenting on the new category, ACR News magazine editor Lynn Sencicle said:ACR_Awards_099

“Our industry is full of people that go over and above the call of duty, and this award is specifically designed to honour them. A nominee can be at any level from the ground up. Whether they’ve dedicated a lifetime, or done one thing that has made all the difference to their company or their customers, it must be someone who deserves the recognition, but would not otherwise receive it.”

The entry process is quick and easy. Complete the nomination form online or download the pdf and send it back to us via post/email/fax.
